Nexstar’s Digital Content influencers for May

As we say goodbye to May, it’s time to highlight #NexstarNation‘s standout digital journalists who have gone above and beyond to work towards goals, improve their station’s digital content offerings, and assist their regional neighbors:

✅ Adam D. of WIVB worked hard to find unique angles during the station’s recent coverage of Buffalo’s mass shooting. His work made an impact with the audience leading the station’s efforts throughout the month.
✅ The team at WRIC in Richmond has already hit its May PV and Visits goals, and Tannock Blair is a huge reason for that. He’s produced more than 100 stories in May (with a big emphasis on local) and leads all local authors on WRIC.com
✅ Brandyn Benter, the digital lead at WTWO in Terre Haute, started working there in late December 2021. With 40% of the year behind us, WTWO is more than halfway to making both YTD goals. Brandyn’s daily positivity and enthusiasm is infectious – and he cares deeply about the digital product.
✅ Laura McMillan of KSNW in Wichita is responsible for more than 20% of ksn.com’s pageviews in the month of May. A key part of the award-winning team, she’s seen solid month-to-month growth on her byline.
✅ WJHL’s Slater T. has seen nice month-over-month growth to his byline. Always dependable, Slater has really done outstanding work for WJHL.com this month both writing and preparing election coverage.
✅ David Charns in Las Vegas is a great example of a broadcast reporter finding consistent digital success. David is one of the company’s top bylines by focusing on stories and topics he thinks will drive traffic. A big factor in David’s success is he writes and publishes his web stories before they air.
✅ KXAN producer Jaclyn Ramkissoon, who’s been with the station for almost two years, is responsible for setting the tone and getting her team’s day started online. She’s KXAN’s top content creator and byline in May. Her managers say she works with speed, accuracy, and strong editorial judgement.

Congrats to our winners and thanks for your outstanding effort and contributions!  👏👏👏
