☑️ East Coast: WGHP digital producer Paul Choate has been building interactive elements to increase engagement and time on site. He’s now sharing his knowledge and workflow with the rest of the team.
☑️ Gulf: WKRG digital producer Carey Cox is regularly turning 5-10 local stories each day. Her pageviews have accounted for close to 20% of WKRG’s traffic for the entire month.
☑️ Northeast: WUTR’s Thaddeus Randazzo started one year ago as the station’s sole digital team member and has made quite the impact. YoY loyal users are up 235%.
☑️ Midwest: Colin Clarke, the digital lead at WTVO in Rockford, is a content-creating machine. He ran mystateline.com as a one-man band in September to impressive pageviews.
☑️ East: Melanie Vásquez Russell, site producer at WATE, took the local lead on the Hispanic Heritage Month project on digital, creating and executing a content plan for local and state shared stories that led to triple digit pageview growth YOY for the project.
☑️ Plains: SEO specialist/site producer Maribel Molina of KDAF has helped spur a growth in users from search YoY — and 2020 is tough to beat!
☑️ Southwest: Victoria Lopez is one of the top authors in the Southwest and helped ValleyCentral.com own local coverage of a major flood at the beginning of the month.
☑️ West: Addy Bink of KTVX is regularly one of the region’s top authors. Not only is Addy a competitive content creator, but she spends time coaching those around her as well.
