Nexstar Media Group is fortunate to have numerous women leading digital efforts in their respective newsrooms. On this International Women’s Day, we want to highlight their efforts.

Over the past few months, I’ve been working with a fantastic team on the Remarkable Women project. This past week, local markets revealed their winners. These 115 ladies will be traveling to New York City later this month to be recognized on The Mel Robbins Show. As you’ll see in the video below, the revealing of the winners was a pretty emotional experience.

A big shout-out to two additional remarkable women, Julie Pruett and Melissa Stacy, who led and organized this effort. It has to be one of the coolest things our company has done. I’m looking forward to meeting these local winners in NYC!
