Nexstar’s Digital Content Influencers for March

I’m very proud of this group of standout journalists Nexstar Digital is highlighting in March. They’ve gone above and beyond to work towards goals, improve their station’s digital content offerings, and assist their regional neighbors.

✅ Juan Cisneros-Sanchez is one of the top authors for WDAF in Kansas City. His name caught my eye because he often makes the top 15 author list on sites across Missouri and Kansas. He does a great job producing high-quality, high-performing stories and making sure his regional neighbors benefit from his excellent work.
✅ Josh Hoggard is a digital reporter for KFDX in Wichita Falls who has been crushing his goals in 2022.  With roughly a week still to go in March, he’s already exceed byline and pageview figures for February.
✅ As digital lead at WJZY in Charlotte, Ciara Lankford leads a team of digital journalists that helped the station in 2021 achieve massive YoY growth in pageviews and visits. Ciara provides constant training to her team and is a top-notch communicator.
✅ As a digital reporter, Dom McAndrew has worked closely with the team in Fresno to create unique, DMA-specific evergreen content that expands the content portfolio of his station. His work has created great conversations about digital enterprise best practices with regional sister sites.
✅ Brady Calhoun of WMBB has taken ownership in ensuring constant updates were available for major wildfires in the Panama City-area. His around-the-clock work has led to 21% of mypanhandle.com‘s pageviews this month and helped the team hit its monthly goal for March with a week still remaining.
✅ WJHL’s Mackenzie Moore is consistently a top 10 author in the East content region. In the first three weeks of March, she’s hit monthly content production goals and leads her local team in PVs.
✅ WTEN’s Johan Sheridan has always been a strong performer. This year, he moved into a distribution producer role and hit the ground running. Johan has already held trainings in social and SEO, and it’s paying off: Albany has seen YoY growth in social referrals.
✅ Gretchen Teske, a site producer for WMBD in Peoria, Ill., has played a key role in helping the team surpass its monthly pageview goal by 20%. Gretchen is a truly a digital-first thinker, and constantly looks for new digital-original content and digital projects that will set centralillinoisproud.com apart from the competition.

Congrats to our winners and thanks for your outstanding effort and contributions!  👏👏
